About Land Of Karchan

Welcome to one of the first Graphical Muds available on the Word Wide Web. Let me give you the crash course in playing the game.

1.  First enter the Homepage at location http://www.karchan.org/karchan (But I guess you already found that, never mind). You will enter the Main Page of the Land of Karchan.
2.  After that, in order to logon to the game for the very first time, click on create new character link underneath the log in fields.
3.  You will now get a page where you can fill out the name of your character in the game and a password.  Make the name kinda original, and please write down your password somewhere.  The registration form continues beneath, and here you will select details concerning your current proper title and your character's immediate appearance.  Fine tuning to your character's description can be done later in-game, as appropriate, by Deputies of Karn.
4. Click the Submit button.
5.  There are two options;

• A) the name already exists, and you get a Wrong password error page. In this case you will have to think up a new name.  Use your browser's back button to select a new name.

• B) the name does not exist, and you receive a message confirming your character's creation.

6.  Now simply return to the Logon page, enter your new character's name and password, then click on the Submit button to enter the game. If you wish to leave the game, at any time, type Quit at the entry-field or click on the Quit button.  Your character information will then be saved.
