The Love Shack is Open!

ou are cordially invited by Romeo d'Amour & company to The Love Shack! The entrance to said realm is open all of February, the month of love and all things Erasmus. The direction will be down from The Road in Central Karchan.
We hope you will join us for the festivities, which will include but aren't entirely limited to:
-Speed Dating (Even if you aren't looking for a date, you are welcome to join. You may find a new friend or connection! Just have fun.)
-The Newlywed/Nearlywed Game (For our couples! But everyone is welcome to come and watch the fun.)
-The Sweethearts Ball (A fun little favorite staple from the first year. All are welcome.)
Each larger festivity will take place on Sundays (Barring this first Sunday, since we just opened!), as they seem to be the times when people are able to be around. Also, we will have a wheel full of fabulous prizes, which you can spin once a day if you desire! There are even some hidden goodies to discover.

The Winter Festival 2025

ello everyone!

Since today is the beginning of December, I wanted to mention the return of The Winter Festival, which much like The Pumpkin Patch, you can try your luck with Merry and see if you are on the Naughty or Nice list. Here is a list of things you can do:

1. You can check which list you're on, once per character, and that determines if you get a prize or something else...
2. You can spin The Wheel of Merriment once per player per day. This will give you a random prize. You must receive a token to spin from Merry, a dicemaiden, or me!
3.Visit the Toy Shoppe to buy toys for collection or redistribution!
4. Go on the Sleigh Ride...and maybe take some mining gear (you didn't hear that from me).
5. Play games to win prizes!
6. Hit up the concession stand for holiday themed goodies!
7. Finally, just have some laid back rp in a cozy winter setting. You've earned it! A new Winter Festival character is also being introduced this year. Best of luck if you're confronted by him, Naughty Listers.

October Festivities

ello Everyone!

With October approaching quickly, I wanted to remind people of things we have going on each year in Karchan to help celebrate spooky season.

Each year, we have our spooky season event The Isle of Coldridge, whose theme changes each year to something different. We keep the theme under wraps until the time to sign up arrives with a sign up sheet via our Karchan discord, so be on the look out for that and sign up...if you dare.

The Pumpkin Patch is another October event held each year, with a variety of things to do. Go on the Haunted Hayride, with ghoulish delights to be seen. Trick or Treat with Lanterna, but understand that her tricks can be positively brutal. Play carnival games in an attempt to win some neat plushies if you're a collector (and maybe there are a couple of new plushies to be won this year). Finally, this year brings the first mini-tournament to be held there: The Pumpkin Patch Peril! Mini-tournaments are only four people starting out, and the winner may get something really neat for rising above the other combatants!

fter a long and arduous set of fights, the Ellrynel Row, 2025, has concluded!
There was a full.roster for this tournament, and the winner was...Xenith!

First, second, third, and fourth were as follows:

The Ellrynel Row 2025

o the tournament begins as...The Ellrynel Row 2025!

Players voted The Assembly of Judges as their judges for this tournament on Discord. As such, duels need to be mailed to Hojn for her to send out to other judges. If you don't remember anything about the AoJ, they have a wiki page here: The Assembly of Judges

Players were paired up based on the /roll 20 command, and screenshots of each player's rolls were posted on our tourney channel. For easy viewing, on our google sheet bracket lineup, I have listed each person's roll at the end of their name.

We have 8 combatants for a fully fledged tournament this time, and I'm looking forward to seeing who comes out on top!

Rules:

1. All duels must be completed in the Ellrynel Arena. If you are unsure where this is, ask me. You can also type twist to ellrynel if you have a glass ring, then type ellrynel map to bring up a link to a map you can look at to find your way to the Arena.
2. Both judges and combatants should refresh themselves on dueling and judging etiquette, as found here: Dueling/Judging Guide.
3. No disrespect of the judges and/or combatants is allowed. Disrespect can be defined as complaining about their judgment, belittling an opponent's win, or bad attitude surrounding a loss. If this rule is broken, you will be barred from future tournaments hosted by yours truly. Obviously, this is an OOC rule.
4. Have fun!

1st Place Prizes:

1. A gem of your choice (minus serekhite).
2. A home in Ellrynel.
3. A custom port to a place of your choosing (within reason).

2nd Place Prizes:

1. A gem of your choice (minus serekhite).
2. A book of your choice.
