The Styxx Gorge Skirmish

ue to occasional requests and questions in general, I have decided to hold a mini-tournament. To do this, I need at least four combatants and three judges (the latter of which that are not entered into the fray). Since we have met those requirements, I'll be holding the STYXX GORGE SKIRMISH sometime in April!

If four more people sign up, I will do a full-fledged tournament, so if you're interested in being on the roster to fight, send me a MUDmail or reach out to me on the Discord with the character you'd like to enter. Otherwise, our little mini-tournament is just fine.

Judges are in the The Assembly of Judges, so you are allowed to request feedback whether you win or lose. To request feedback, you'll need to send a MUDmail to Hojn.

Tournament Rules

1. All duels must be completed in the Styxx Gorge Arena. If you are unsure where this is, ask me. You can also type twist to styxx gorge if you have a glass ring, then type styxx gorge map to bring up a link to a map you can look at to find your way to the Arena.
2. No poisoning of your opponent. Temporary maladies that are non-life threatening are allowed.
3. If you are a shifter that can change or turn someone into what you are, then you are not allowed to do anything that would achieve that result, aka, no turning your opponent into a shifter.
4. No mind control spells.
5.No autohits or godmoding. If you aren't sure what those are, please ask.
6. No disrespect of the judges and/or combatants is allowed. Disrespect can be defined as complaining about their judgment, belittling an opponent's win, or bad attitude surrounding a loss. If this rule is broken, you will be barred from future tournaments hosted by yours truly. Obviously, this is an OOC rule.
7. Have fun!

Tournament Prizes

WINNER
1. 10,000 gold.
2. Access to a few game secrets.
3. A wishing card to be cashed in at your leisure.

RUNNER UP
5,000 gold.

Combatants were paired up using the /roll 20 command, then paired up in order.

Please request entry as a combatant by April 1st, 2024 so that we can hopefully get the tournament started by April 8th, 2024 if you wish to participate. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to me!

If you're interested in just watching the duels, our Discord will probably be where individuals do their planning to meet up and get the ball rolling. So if you just want to hang out in the audience, the Discord is the place to stalk for dates.
