A Marriage - Declan and Nitiana

Karora is just kind of hanging out, relaxing all cool.

Declan enters with Nitiana in tow, holding to her hand still. A smile is granted to Karora, as well as a nod.

Nitiana enters the church, the angel looking about the clean decorated interior. Passing over the worn seats. Continuing down the aisle, till the step's of the alter, she hasn't been in a church or any type of cathedral in a very long time. It seemed almost alien to her. Amber eye's turn to Karora, and a lovely smile forms Declan's hand held tightly.

Karora says : You two going for it, then?

Nitiana says [to Karora] : Yes.

Declan steps to the altar with Nitiana, nodding toward Karora. "Yes, indeed. We discussed what might be holding us back and figured that it doesn't matter." He grants a smile to Nitiana, "If you are ready, then I am certain we are."

Karora rises and walks to the end of the shrine, and though the place is worn, it has its own charm. The cyndyrwisp is quick to manipulate the gauntlet on her hand and arm so that it is less ridged and smoother, clinging to her arm more like a cuff bracelet than an actual piece of armor. The hand without a gauntlet lets a plume of purple hellfire curl up slowly from her palm. She guides hands together and lets a small inferno gather in her palms, presenting the flame to Nitiana and Declan. "Please hold your hands in the hellfire, clasped together." When they hold hands and have inserted them, Karora will continue. "Hellfire is purifying and cleansing of bad intentions. Holding each other's hand in hellfire serves as a reminder that your love is pure and that your intentions are as well. They make strong your vows to each other. If at any time your vows ring untrue, the fire will burn. If you are devoted and dedicated to each other, the flame will remain cool to the touch, as hellfire only burns those who deserve its wrath." She pauses, focusing her gaze on the pair before her, the hellfire casting an ominous glow on her face as she looks toward Declan. "Declan, do you promise to stand by Nitiana's side through troubles and turmoil? Do you promise to be at her side through the good things in life and the ugly things in life? Do you promise to always strive to be her equal, not standing in front of her or behind her until death do you part?" When he answers, she'll look toward Nitiana and ask the same of her. Once Nitiana says she does, Karora continues. "Speak your vows to each other now, hands still remaining in the hellfire to prove your trust and loyalty."

Nitiana hand clasping Declan's own, bringing them together within the hellfire. Eyes fix on the burning flame, watching the cool fire drift about there hands. Lifting her gaze to the priestess, listening to each word. "I do." Turning her amber hues to Declan, a lovely smile forms. "Declan, when I first meet you I found you interesting. When we spent time together, and our friendship grew, I found myself falling in love. I denied the feeling, time and time again. But the more we've spent with each other, the more I began to feel again, and I liked it. Liked the way you made me feel, the way you made my heart beat. It made me, happy." Pause. "I want to gift you something, you've gave me. Happiness, undying love and devotion. And more, unbreakable trust."

Declan keeps his hand clasped to Nitiana's own, the hellfire cool against his skin and feeling out the truth of his words to Nitiana. He nods, "I do." Then listens to her vows with a content silence, smiling all the while at her words. When his own turn comes around, the priest clears his throat, "Nitiana. I know in the past I was not perfect, even before I met you. I was often taking long leaves to figure myself out. However, you stuck with me and helped me to see the worth in myself. Along with Victoria, you have kept me on the path of the straight and narrow. There were times when the darkness within threatened to consume me, yet you helped me to focus on you and the love we share with one another." His smile blooms further, "I am grateful for your devotion and love. I promise to be the best husband I can. That I will never stray from your side, that you shall always be my equal. I love you more than words can say."

Karora smiles and the flames burn brighter. "Then by the powers invested by me by my Goddess Victoria, I pronounce you husband and wife. Lay one on her, Declan." The flames blow out only after they have sealed their union with a kiss, and Karora high fives the groom when things are said and done. "Happy honeymoon," she teases, practically bouncing down the aisle and out of the church.

Nitiana listens her face alight with joy at Declan's words, and even more so, as the ceremony ended without a hitch. A small laugh escaping at Karora's comment, turning to her husband, yes it sounded unrealistic. She never would have thought that she'd become married, and with the most handsome powerful male on Kuri. God's not included. Stepping close, eyes looking into Delcan's. "We are bound together now." Spoken low, gentle.

Declan dips in close and kisses Nitiana sweetly, nuzzling his nose to hers soon after Karora bounces out of there. "I love you, wife." That last word is spoken with a wry smile, his indigo eyes blazing with mirth. "We are bound together. So now I need to take you to a wonderful place in order to enjoy our honeymoon. Khneo? Or do you want to stay in Sjolen? Or somewhere else?"

Nitiana savors the kiss, his taste, she didn't think she can get enough of this Sylph. "I love you." Spoken close to his mouth, eyes closed forehead pressed to his own. Moving her head back, eyes lifting to his, her smile returning. "Khneo, I like the smell of ocean in the air."

Declan whisks Nitiana off to Khneo for rainbow waters, Khneo Karnival, fine dining, etc. To be continued!
