ABILITY: She is Victoria's chameleon. She has the ability to blend in with her surroundings and even flatten against objects so that it is impossible to tell the difference between her and the actual item.
STORY: Caer was in an abusive marriage and ultimately killed by her husband.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Halanaestra.
ABILITY: Reactive Adaptation - The ability to develop adaptations, powers, or skills in response to immediate threats.
STORY: Ember was forced to leave her home at the age of ten due to superstitions about those with mental illnesses. Her family believed she was possessed, so they turned her into an 'asylum' that dealt with exorcisms via torture. She was eventually dunked to death in an attempt to make the demons flee.

KNIGHT: Melita.
ABILITY: Hellfire Traps - The ability to set traps using hellfire that can possibly render an evildoer prone. Sometimes, these traps can be used to lure someone in as well.
STORY: Hecate was part of an old god's following. When she began to wake up and see them for what they were, she was burned at stake for being a heretic.

ABILITY: Magical Weapon Manifestation.
STORY: Helena was in the service of a dark god, and when he exacted his blood price due to her grandson's stupidity, she was unfortunately killed.

SPELLGARDE: Koztah.
ABILITY: Redirection. She can redirect attacks or other actions. If something is happening, she can use her ability to change how it turns out by guiding events in the direction she wants.
STORY: Hudson was born into a very superstitious werewolf pack that feared witches. Any pup believed to be a witch was cast out, often while still young. Hudson was born with pure white fur, which the pack took as a sign. Even though her fur later changed to the normal gray of a wolf, the decision had already been made.
Her mother kept her distance, but she did try to prepare Hudson for what was coming. She taught her basic life skills and warned her to be careful around strangers. When Hudson was ten years old, she was made to pack a small bag. Her mother led her out of the forest and left her there.
Hudson?s life after that was hard. She never truly recovered from being cast out and spent most of her life homeless. When she was old and crippled, she survived by begging in the city. One day a group of men attacked her to steal the little money she had. Hudson died there, old and in great pain.
After her death, Victoria found her and offered her a chance to become a fury. Hudson accepted, shocked and grateful when her youth was restored.

ABILITY : Creature Mimicry. She can take on the abilities of any animal or monster she has knowledge of.
STORY: Iris was taken from her father as well as her sister, at a young age, in order to repay a debt that the family owed. She was cast into the slave trade of Saparta and transported to various places, sold to a few other slave traders. Eventually, a plan went sour and a man refused to pay, tried to steal Iris and as a result the trader slit her throat just to spite the thief.

ABILITY : Hypnotism.
STORY: Lucy was killed by Nerad back when he was associated with the Crimson Paladins. He slew many people in The Twisted Dwarf, and Lucy was amongst the casualties.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Ean.
ABILITY: Monster Summoning.
STORY: A former member of the BKIC, when she left due to falling in love with Ean, she was eventually tracked down and murdered for defecting.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Rhodie.
ABILITY: Foresight in battle.
STORY: Philomena was a royal guard in Haavi. One night, there was an attack on the Sultana by a doppelganger, and Philomena was framed and put to death by the people responsible for the attack.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Eibhinn.
ABILITY: Liquid Transmutation.
STORY: Phoelee was driven from her homeland by a foreign king hoping to secure her hand to seize her homeland, Ndor En' Kalina. Eventually, after a year or so in Karchan, she was captured and returned to the king. She was forced to marry him, and when she next tried to flee, he had her killed. Victoria brought her back and aided her in a war that returned her to her rightful place as Queen.

ABILITY: Magic Artillery. She can create unlimited arrows and use them to do different things.
STORY: Was killed by Jaldrud, Moilm, and May in Pendulis.

KNIGHT/OFFICER:Ammerville.
ABILITY: Old blood - she can reopen old wounds of those fighting against her.
STORY: Reverie was slain twice by followers of Obsidian while in his service. She is the daughter of Tyvarliek and Avarithos Carnelian, granddaughter of Obsidian. She was reborn as a fury because of her untimely deaths, plus she is Victoria's great niece.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Tahlia.
ABILITY: Can heal everyone in a fifty foot radius of where she stands.
STORY: As member of a traveling troupe of performers, eventually Rumor captured the notice of a prince. He wanted to go on the road with her, but his father and his men showed up instead, putting her life to an end to keep the prince from running away with her.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Devaco.
ABILITY: Arcane Resonance. The power to resonate with magical energies, allowing Salvatrix to detect, amplify, or nullify spells and magical effects around her.
STORY: Salvatrix was stolen from the village where she lived and used in absolutely brutal experimentation in the name of mad science. Eventually one of these experiments went too far and she died a wrongful death as a result.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Elsie.
ABILITY: Duplication.
STORY: Selma was once a produce vendor. One day after work, she was accosted, dragged into an alleyway and her life brought to an end. The man who stabbed her may still be at large.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Midrys.
ABILITY: Aura Infusion. She can use the powers of anyone she is fighting against. These abilities are not permanent, however.
STORY: Silver, originally Lilura, was killed personally by Caelwyn when he went mad from a sickness. When Victoria offered her a chance to be reborn, Silver asked for a new body and to be able to forge a new identity.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Mei.
ABILITY: Hex Magic. She can make bad things happen when she fights.
STORY: Her town was under attack and razed. She died fighting those pillaging and bringing destruction to her home.

KNIGHT/OFFICER: Suri.
ABILITY: Energy of Emotions. The ability to absorb energy from the emotions around her and convert it into powerful blasts or even well-timed qi bombs.
STORY: Born in the Underdark, Ulurynas was raised to be a proud drow woman. The only man she ever loved was her brother, and when their mother died, he lost her protection. With multiple individuals descending on their house to capture and enslave her brother, Ulurynas helped him escape, but it cost her her life to do so.

ABILITY: Adaptive Attacks. If a spell cast needs to change based on her opponent's actions, it will adapt automatically to make up for its prior inadequacies.
STORY: Was killed by jealous john when she wouldn't runaway with him.

ABILITY: Phasing.
STORY: As a renowned actress where she was born, Zoya eventually gained a stalker. Though her stalker was permanently maimed in the attack, Zoya still succumbed to her wounds and died her wrongful death.
