Gyllene

Origins

Gyllene was an island that is mired in perpetual autumn due to the Goddess of Time (Qonna) and the Goddess of Seasons (Mudith) coming together to turn what was once a barren island into something lush with the colors of fall. It is chilly all year around, varying at different times of the year to reflect some seasonal changes. It will be a warmer autumn day in the summer, for example, and a chillier autumn day in winter to further that explanation.

Government

Gyllene is under the jurisdiction of the Knights of Karchan, but it does have a sheriff and a jail for those that need to be detained.
The island is mostly run by Count Ruairi Lennox, a somewhat reclusive but kind man.

Sights to See

Gyllene hosts a fire festival once a year, usually sometime in the "summer" months with no particular set date.
The arena always hosts a fight, and sometimes tournaments are held there.
Walks in the forest and hiking the mountain are popular tourist attractions.
There is an auction house in Gyllene that usually auctions off rare items or ships built/repaired by the locals manning the Shipwright.
