Mahtohs

The Isle of Mahtohs, aka The Isle of Orgies or the Isle of Lust, is the place where the deity Almahvius is worshiped. It is tropical and beautiful, full of incubi and succubi, and where the Temple of Lust is located. There is a family side of the island where children are raised, and only once they turn eighteen are they allowed to travel through the jungles to the lascivious side of the island.

Mahtohs has a reputation for being an island of carnal sin due to their worship of the God of Lust; and in most places, you will find people in the throes of passion. They do this out in the open, uncaring as to whoever is watching.

There is a beach on the island with blood red sand, and the locals will tell you that there was once a war there hundreds of years ago, before Almahvius was a neutral deity. People came to the island to punish Almahvius' followers for his foul deeds, and it was a turning point for him. He slew anyone coming to Mahtohs with vile intentions toward his followers, and war broke out. He keeps the beach red with the blood of his slain enemies as a reminder that he protected his people in addition to reminding him of the value of keeping his temper in check. Since then, he has served as a neutral deity, even bordering more on the benevolent side.

The island is said to be magically protected, barring access save by sea or by blessing bestowed by its Lord. Therefore, the only way to reach this fabled place is to either swim there or to take a boat that is capable of finding it. Swimming is sure suicide for all but the seafolk, who are said to have quick access through their secretive, deep ocean tidal currents.

The Sea Louse is believed to make an unscheduled stop past Mahtohs every Tuesday, between the hours of 18:00:00 Karchan time and 20:00:00 Karchan time.

Rumor also holds that the crew of The Scylla Tide knows the location. Therefore, those desperate to make the trip right away might have some luck commissioning the vessel for the right price.

Those few lucky enough to make it to the island as tourists may want to check out the following attractions: The grand stone temple to the god of Lust in the center of the island. The local inn and bar, The Succubi's Dwelling, where the famous Mahtohs monk blow is served. The magically stained sands of the pink and red beaches. The grand monument in front of the Temple to Lust. A curious tree somewhere in the jungle. The beautifully cultivated avocado grove.
