Rajan
Origins
Rajan is a country with four districts, and each one serves a different purpose. It is rumored that a great dragon created the country eons ago by melting sand with his fiery breath, then covering the island lovingly with soil and other things. Over time, it developed into an island with lovely beaches, a mountain, and a stunning forest of bamboo, cherry blossoms, and fireflies. The Rajanese people thusly worship dragons as deities, believing this age-old myth about the creation of their homeland.
Government
Rajan is lead by Emperor Tsubasa, the son of the Black Dragon Monarch, Eferlithe. Being that he is of royal blood as well, Tsubasa is a chimaera with both a white tiger form, a dragon form, and a combination that makes him highly revered for his lineage. The local police force is named Vaho Cowaed, or 'Fire Legion' in dragon tongue, as a nod to the dragons that the people of Rajan worship.
Sights to See
- Inori is a beautiful wonderland of shrines and temples to the various dragons, and it is said that you may sometimes receive blessings from the dragons therein.
- Kaika is known for being the beautiful countryside, where the farms reside. There is even a florist and a beekeeper in that town, and a restaurant in the citrus orchard.
- Kagayaki is known as the Glittering District, considered to be the 'rich' part of the country. It is where the palace is located, in addition to the bath house, the theater, the library, and arena. There is also a dance club that is often frequented by the emperor himself.
- Youkoso is the merchant town at the dock, and it is a poorer part of the country despite this. People peddle wares at their local market, and the post office is located here. That is also where the witch Majo works her magic for people willing to pay her price, though her shop also serves as a means to obtain spell reagents.
