Origins
Nestled in the bottom of a mountain near Ammerville, Styxx Gorge is a sleepy community with laid back citizens and an odd coziness. The locals are kind and always willing to lift a hand to help someone else, and the farms are bustling with all manner of goods. There's a peculiar mix of honored deities, such as Tyvarliek, Verity, and Shara, the latter of who supposedly crafted the town's large waterfall personally.
Government
Styxx Gorge is under the jurisdiction of the Knights of Karchan, but it does have a sheriff and a jail for those that need to be detained.
The area is overseen by the Countess of Styxx Gorge, Circe Styxx, since her grandfather's passing. She is known for being kind but impish. She is often seen with her Chamberlain, Deimos Averlingne.
Sights to See
Most of the roads in Styxx Gorge are perfect for walking, so a good portion of the population stays active as a result.
There is a small arena in Styxx Gorge that sometimes hosts fights, mostly known for wrestling matches rather than outright brawls. There are several wrestlers that are popular figures in the town as a result. (To play one, shoot Victoria a message.)
There is a strange shrine toward the west of the town that is eerie to look at on the outside, but supposedly very beautiful on the inside.
The Rough-n-Tumbler Bar & Cafe has a wide variety of drinks to choose from, from caffeinated to alcoholic. It's an outdoor establishment, so dress accordingly! They're known best for their hard tea.
There is a Zoo in Styxx Gorge, along with a cave that holds mysterious paintings. They are both popular tourist destinations.
