Howlswealde University
The Howlswealde University is bulit inside of the castle found in the northwestern area of town, and it is rumored that the space is haunted by something terrible.
It closes every night by nightfall, and the day before and following each full moon, classes are cancelled.
The University accepts people from all walks of life, though some people have been able to join the mysterious Morrow Coven by taking multiple classes and either being approached by a professor or outright asking to join. The Coven isn't a secret as they are neutrally aligned.
The following courses are available, along with the professor teaching the course:
Shops and Businesses
For more information on shops, visit the Howlswealde Geography page. This is only a list of shops owned.
Ranks
The Sovereign is the leader of the guild, but the other ranks are a bit more complicated. The Sovereign always takes advice and votes from The Trine, three random individuals of Elite ranking. After each vote, she chooses three new Elite to serve as her council of three.
The Elite are based off of a custom deck that only the Morrow Coven can use. The Elite are the considered the best the Coven has to offer, and they take their position based on the mysterious oracle deck that was created years ago. Once you are made Elite, you are made immortal.
The next strongest are called The Harrowed, and they are based on cards that are more abstract or conceptual, and definitely more flexible. They are still regarded with respect, as The Harrowed are also strong, sometimes on the border of being as strong as an Elite. There are some who may even be on level ground with those in higher ranks, but they are not promoted to Elite because they do not pass a Trine vote for promotion for one reason or another.
The wolves who are not as strong as the above are simply called Howlers. They may be strong in some ways, but not enough to hold rank or because their sphere of ability is not as rounded, stable, or powerful as others in the Coven.
Joining
In order to join, you must be a werewolf. There are allies in the guild, but they are not given full access to the Coven's secrets. Only the Elite know everything.
You must also have some form of magical ability to join the Coven, for obvious reasons.
In order to be voted in as a full member, you have to be associated with the Coven for at least a year. Most members must get to know you, and if you have no magical ability, you will be taught classes through the university. At six months, you can become an official ally. After a year, you will be voted on by the Trine for possible entry. A no vote doesn't mean that you cannot get voted on again, just that full membership has been denied 'at that time.'
Contact
For more information, contact Olivienne via MUDmail or in a tell, or if you cannot catch her, speak with Nathanael. Going to Howlswealde is also a good way to get involved with the Coven.
