Tyvarliek Carnelian was bred for the sole purpose of serving Obsidian, his mother and father's names are unknown. Once he was a certain age in childhood, dark clerics ripped his heart out and replaced it with the ancient and powerful dragon Eferlithe's heart.

Tyvarliek won many battles and created many creatures in the name of Obsidian, he was quite emotionless before meeting his now husband Avarithos Carnelian - formerly Avarithos Iolite - the youngest son of Obsidian and Lilu.

Obsidian's General and former teacher of Poppy Mayfair, Tyvarliek is credited with having done a great and many foul deeds though a couple of the greatest may indeed be leading the Ammerville war and taking over the county of Sjolen by acquiring the The Silver Oar of Sjolen.

Tyvarliek is credited with the creation of the Immwolkn race with the help of his former apprentice Poppy.

He is now the owner of the Crimson Paladins after taking the guild over from Levana. One of the more famous things that he did, when he first came to the land was summon a gorgon by the name of Mitelku which turned people to stone. These stone statues were held for ransom and told that they wouldn't be turned back unless a certain amount of gold was given by loved ones. Mitelku was later found and slain by Lorien after a premonition by Yliekiiel Gatewood on her whereabouts.

Tyvarliek is also one of the few people to ever beat Majix in a duel.

He loves his husband and is known to indulge in the occasional sweet treat, though his favorite thing is cake not many are knowledgeable of this. He has been spotted at the road eating cotton candy once or twice.

He also seems to have a fatal flaw in his design - despite ascending, whenever he creates something for the first time, he botches it horribly. He is unsure why this happens every time he attempts to create something or another, but his second attempt is typically perfect. Notable examples are Eurus, who was the first Immwolkn project that resulted in a resurrection instead of a transformation, and Archibald the nightmare, who has been claimed by Avarithos much to Tyvarliek's chagrin.

On the 30th of August (2013), Obsidian made Tyvarliek a deity in his pantheon. His domain is that of sacrifice. In order to get something, you must first give something important to you. To get anywhere in life, you must work hard and be willing to lose everything to accomplish your goals. Fitting, really.
